Looking through some laser jobs by different studios we found this idea of using laser to make birthday cake name tags our of acrylic. Looks nice and personal.

Golf Ball Lasr Cutting Attempt
Nothing creative but shows our attempt to cut through golf ball. Outer plastic cover got cut easily but inner fillings just kept exploding when laser hits it. Conclusion, laser cutting of golf ball only good as fireworks show.

Even though its a spring time, this snow flake made out of acrylic / plexi looks nice in display cases. Simple and fast to cut and nice to impress. All you need is good design idea to create impressive decoration.

Nice photo showing laser cutting machine to be used to fabricate wooden gears for impressive clock mechanism. This one probably is not extremely durable mechanical construction but certainly looks good.
