This is another special edition project done for Coach New York, wood skate board deck is laser engraved with Coach pattern on both sides. Complexity of this project was to mimic leather pattern, so multiple laser power was used for engraving, more to that wood deck is not straight so engraving on curved surface was needed. Final product came perfectly matching Coach hand bag style even though this is laser engraved wood.
This tag engraved for city of Beverly Hills, CA to be used as landmark tag on historic buildings. Tag is made from stainless steel and fiber laser engraved making artwork to be solid black and nicely visible.
Special edition of military style Budweiser bottle got special iron tag that is laser engraved. These engraved bottles are to be used as awards for USAF personnel. As per client request metal tag was attached to bottle but LaserCutZ can also engrave directly onto surface of aluminum beer cans.
Manufacturer of this lens needed it to be cut in half so they can use it as a demo presentation of what’s inside. We used water jet to cut camera lens apart. Waterjet was used mainly because it is tolerant to different materials it’s almost same as to use a saw to cut lens. If we would use laser to cut aluminum housing but inner glass components would be untouched while waterjet cuts everything straight through.

This product display and information info plate is laser cut from clear acrylic and then printed on flat bed printer in inverse. This allows nice any shiny front surface, while artwork is protected from scratches and cleaning chemicals. Such laser cut name plates are ideal for retail environment. This specific plate was printed with text and then layer of white in was added as a backer to make text more readable. Final look mimics Apple style signs as this plate is designed for apple iPhone accessory.

LaserCutZ produced special order of laser cut and engraved Teflon washers for DC Metro Transportation Authority. Teflon is heat resistant material that has many uses in various industries. Teflon needs to be cut with CO2 laser to ensure that big amount of energy and temperature is supplied to “brake” material. While CO2 laser cutter and cut Teflon, it cannot engrave it. For engraving on Teflon we use Fiber laser which operates at different frequency. Fiber laser has possibility to change black color to white without melting material.
