Laser Cutting Services
LaserCutZ’s flatbed UV printer can print on any rigid surface such as this laser cut acrylic plastic. In case of this project body shape was laser cut from P95 matte acrylic then shape was printed on flatbed UV printer to add photo to a blank shape.
This sign fabricated as a combination of laser cut metal base plate that will block the light everywhere except the cut out slot where trance lucent numbers will be placed. Letters are laser cut to the shape of slots, they made of 40% light transmitting white acrylic so at night when LED light is applied from the back people will see numbers glowing. Sign is built for outdoor use and can be seen form far as it is fairly large.
This is not exactly laser cutting job but we do have CNC and in case of material that those glasses are made of CNC showed better results. Laser was leaving too much of burn marks so we had to use CNC mill. Those glasses have rectangular hole cut out which will be used to place camera for eye tracking for medical device.
When needed LaserCutZ can provide welding services for mechanical, structural and art project. Normally we can weld stainless steel and iron (hot and cold rolled steel) If needed we can also weld aluminum parts too.
Iron brands been always used to add logo or initials of the owner to cattle and wood. This metal stamp is laser cut with client’s logo and mounted to a wood handle so it can be heat up with torch and then burn logo into the wood.

Architectural terrain models are done by laser cutting each individual sheet of material weather it is chip board, grey board, wood or acrylics. Then each layer is stacked on each other to form terrain elevation. Once terrain is formed buildings and other decorations can be installed. Need stencil for your next art project? We can cut it for you. LaserCutZ has state of the art CO2 laser equipment that can cut any organic material, this includes mylar. Mylar is most popular media for stencils, its thin and can be brushed or splay pained over and its pretty durable so it can be reused many times. Aside from mylar we can laser cut other materials if you have specific needs. From what we see most artist prefer film type of stencils but all builders and painters (architectural painting) prefer to laser cut hard templates from acrylics, cardboards and plywood
As always personalized gifts are bets to remember. This project is a gift from student to art teacher. As seen on the photo those pencils came out beautifully. For this project we has to laser cut special placement module (jig) so we can place each individual pencil in same location for engraving. This jig is required as if engraving is not in correct place on the pencil it would be very visible once those pencils are put next to each other in the box. When jig is done we used CO2 laser to burn out a channel with the name in the wood. Channel came out grey and that was not impressive so we used white ink and infilled that channel with white. Result came out absolutely perfect.
This sample project was fabricated to show possibilities of laser cutting wood veneer. Sample plate has 3 types of veneer. Base slice has hollow star that other veneer triangles that are placed in there forming a star symbol. Once mosaic is assembled on substrate the wood is laminated with polymer to add high gloss finish and highlight wood texture.
