Acrylic (aka Plexiglas) is best material to work with laser cutter. Acrylic has high melting point which allows to have perfect and clear edges. Acrylic comes in different forms, colors which makes it favorable for fabricators, interior designer, architects and engineers. You can find acrylic just about anywhere from cookie tray in restaurant to store front display windows. Plexi is also easy to engrave and bend. Just about all channel letter signs are done with acrylic.
