Unlike water jet aluminum cutting, fiber laser does not get into direct physical contact with material so there is no shaking, vibration or any other defects on parts edge that you would normally see when metal is cut with water jet. Advantages of fiver laser over any other laser or metal cutting procedures that it can deliver superior precision during cutting. For instance most CO2 high power metal lasers barely can achieve 0.4mm kerf (laser diameter) where our custom build fine cut fiber laser can do kerf size of 0.01mm. Part you see on the video is less than 1” in diameter (it’s actually 20mm) smallest hole on the part is 1mm. If such hole to be cut by CO2 or Waterjet it would not be possible at all.
